You will step into a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO). You will lead a sizable and dedicated team of approximately 15 to 20 professionals, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and prudent decision-making. You will collaborate closely with other senior leaders, including the Head of Asset Recovery and Associate Directors within the Risk function.

This position plays a critical role in defining the organization's risk strategy and ensuring the quality of the loan portfolio.
- Strategic Leadership: Direct the overall credit risk management function, ensuring a strategic balance between risk and reward across different credit cycles.
- Policy & Optimization: Formulate and refine credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and portfolio management strategies to optimize credit losses and risk-adjusted returns.

Analytics & Modeling: Supervise the development of advanced risk analytics and credit models (including prediction and loss estimation) to enhance acquisition quality and portfolio performance.
Business Partnership: Work closely with business stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, support new product initiatives, and execute business strategies.
Insights & Reporting: Provide comprehensive credit analysis, forecasting, and presentations to internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies regarding the status of consumer finance portfolios.skills & experiences required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Risk Management, Statistics, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in Banking or Financial Institutions, specifically within Credit & Risk Management, including a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record in managing consumer finance portfolios with a deep understanding of the full credit cycle, credit control, pricing, and modeling.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAS programming is a distinct advantage; professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are preferred.
- Language: Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
