Our client is a well-established business in the commercial sector. They are currently seeking an Group IT Manager to manage various aspects of IT infrastructure management and delivery to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and efficient support of its operations.
about the job.
- Participate in overseeing group-level IT infrastructure service portfolio and resources management
- Manage and motivate internal and external resources for the service delivery of infrastructure, including workplace technologies, public cloud, middleware, data center, server, storage, backup solutions, and IAM solutions etc..
- Oversee delivery and integration of infrastructure solutions, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Work closely with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security and procurement teams to set standards and ensure the IT infrastructure solutions (hardware and software) comply with group policies & industry regulations.
- Stay informed on market trends, and advise on new technology adoptions.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Prior experience managing group-level IT infrastructure platform, delivery and resources with a US$5M+ budget is preferable.
- 18+ years of experience in IT, with well-rounded expertise in IT infrastructure service or products including but not limited to cloud computing technologies such as Azure and AWS (at least one), database, IaaS/SaaS, server, storage, backup solutions, and IAM solutions.
- Prior experience in a leadership role for service delivery with both internal and external resources (20+ FTEs).
- Good understanding of technology compliance/governance and industry standards.
- Strong business sense and ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels, effectively translating technical ideas into simple language in a multicultural environment
- Proficient in both Chinese & English speaking and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in cloud technologies would be advantageous.
