As the Global Commercial Director, you will be the architect of this department's evolution. You will inherit a solid foundation and be tasked with rapidly scaling the headcount across the globe. ...The Role
As the Global Commercial Director, your primary objective is to drive revenue growth and institutionalise the sales function. Your responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership: Designing and executing a comprehensive global commercial strategy to increase market share across sponsorship, enterprise partnerships, and high-level delegations.
Team Scaling & Mentorship: Rapidly hiring, training, and managing top-tier sales talent across multiple timezones to ensure global coverage and local market expertise.
High-Value Account Management: Directly managing relationships with "anchor" clients, including Tier-1 Investment Banks, Global Tech Giants, and Venture Capital firms.
Sales Operations: Implementing robust CRM processes, reporting structures, and KPIs to move from an organic sales model to a data-driven, scalable engine.
Global Collaboration: Working closely with the founders and marketing leads to align commercial efforts with the brand’s global event roadmap.
Market Positioning: Representing the company at high-level forums, acting as a key spokesperson for the brand's commercial value proposition.
Skills & Experience
We are seeking a sophisticated leader who possesses a blend of "Big Tech" discipline and "High-Growth" grit.
Proven Track Record: 10–15+ years of B2B sales experience, with significant time spent in leadership roles within top-tier organisations (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan etc)
Scale-up Expertise: Demonstrated experience in building and managing decentralised, international sales teams from the ground up.
Institutional Fluency: A deep understanding of the financial services and technology sectors, with the ability to navigate complex procurement processes and "speak the language" of C-suite executives.
Regional Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the business landscapes of both Hong Kong and Singapore, ideally with an existing network of institutional contacts.
Adaptability: While Crypto or AI experience is a plus, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry is more critical.
Academic Excellence: A degree from a top-tier global university; an MBA or equivalent is highly regarded.
