About the Team
As the General Manager, you will lead a dedicated and diverse workforce of over 100 employees. You will sit at the helm of the executive leadership team, providing strategic direction and mentorship to department heads across:

Facilities Management & Engineering
Housekeeping & Maintenance
Sports & Leisure Management
Corporate Functions

...The Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the total operational and commercial success of the club. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership: Defining and executing the operational road map to ensure the club remains a premier destination for members.
Operational Excellence: Overseeing daily operations across all departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality facility standards.
Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary liaison between the General Committee and the operational staff, translating board vision into actionable results.
Financial Oversight: Managing the annual budget, P&L, and capital expenditure projects to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Member Relations: Maintaining a high-profile presence within the club, engaging with members to ensure satisfaction and addressing any feedback with diplomacy and tact.
People Development: Championing a culture of excellence by mentoring department heads and ensuring robust training and retention strategies for the 100+ strong workforce.
Crisis & Risk Management: Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations within the Hong Kong statutory framework.
Skills & Experience
Proven Track Record: At least 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within large-scale private leisure clubs or luxury hotel management.
Operational Breadth: Deep expertise in managing multi-faceted operations, particularly Food & Beverage and large-scale facilities/estates.
Leadership Presence: A natural leader with the ability to manage a diverse, multi-cultural team and influence senior stakeholders/committees.
Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy with experience managing complex budgets and Capex projects.
Communication: Exceptional command of English (written and spoken); Cantonese or Mandarin fluency is a significant advantage given the local context.
Cultural Fit: A deep understanding of Hong Kong’s unique social club landscape and the ability to uphold the traditions of a historic institution while driving modern improvements.
Education: A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
