- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders (including C-suite), translating complex technical landscapes into actionable business strategies and vice-versa.
- Partner with global stakeholders to align business objectives with a forward-thinking technology vision, balancing regional market nuances with regional scalability.
- Lead the entire IT infrastructure, cyber security and operations function, ensuring the effective design, engineering, delivery, and maintenance of all enterprise-wide IT services supporting critical business processes.
- Lead the identification and execution of infrastructure modernization and automation opportunities to radically enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, and implement cutting-edge tools to drive high-velocity performance.
- Collaborate closely with Software Development and Data & AI teams to leverage emerging technologies, recommending cost-effective solutions that fuel business growth.
- Identify infrastructure modernization or automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive the full lifecycle of infrastructure modernization; from building robust business cases and calculating ROI to managing budgets and resource allocation.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 20 years of IT experience, with at least 8+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams across Infrastructure, Security, and IT Service Management.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, resilient enterprise architectures and roadmaps that directly support group-wide business objectives.
- Deep knowledge of modern ecosystems, including hybrid/multi-Cloud, automation, cybersecurity platforms, DevOps/DevSecOps, and advanced ITSM tools.
- Proven track record in high-level resource management, including CAPEX/OPEX budget oversight, headcount planning, and the orchestration of complex onshore, offshore, and third-party vendor ecosystems.
- A strong command of industry best practices and regulatory frameworks for cyber security (ISO 27001, NIST) and IT service management (ITIL) etc..
- A demonstrated ability to identify enterprise-level gaps and deliver workable, high-impact solutions based on global industry standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; the ability to influence at all levels of a matrixed organization.
- Proficient in English speaking ; and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
- Holding CISSP, PMP, or ITIL certifications is highly advantageous.
