about the job.As a Lead Data Analytics & AI Model Specialist, you will occupy a pivotal role in transforming raw information into competitive intelligence. You are the bridge between complex algorithmic development and tangible business growth.

Innovation & R&D: Serving as a primary researcher for the bank to test the applicability of emerging AI/ML technologies against real-world financial use cases.

Advanced ML Development: Taking the lead on hands-on modeling using supervised and unsupervised learning to optimize customer targeting, risk assessment, and operational efficiency.

Unstructured Data Transformation: Developing frameworks to capture and utilize non-traditional data—such as voice recordings, digital footprints, images, and text—to drive deeper insights.

Unified Customer Vision: Integrating disparate internal and external data streams to build a comprehensive 360-degree view of customer behavior.

Systems Roadmap & Integration: Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to evaluate system capabilities and ensure smooth deployment of models into production.

Cultural Transformation: Acting as a mentor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to uplift the technical literacy and machine learning capabilities of the wider analytical community.

skills & experiences required.- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Information Management).
- Minimum of 8 years of deep-dive experience in data science and large-scale project execution, specifically within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Highly proficient in Python and SAS, with a proven history of working with NLP, web crawling, and complex data manipulation.
- Ability to "translate" high-level analytical concepts into clear business strategies that resonate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive learner who stays synchronized with the latest global advancements in AI and Deep Learning.
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua) are essential for cross-border collaboration.
