Finance Director, US firm, US GAAP
Our client is a fast-growing platform company listed in the US with the new business initiative.They are looking for a finance professional with hands-on experience in US capital markets and SEC filings experience to lead the finance team in Hong Kong to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and data-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee or co-lead quarterly and annual reporting and prepare the transition from IFRS to US GAAP, take lead in the regular SEC fillings.
- Ensure SOX compliance, partner with Internal Audit on key controls, and remediate deficiencies proactively.
- Provide market-facing analytics and scenarios to inform capital allocation, liquidity, and leverage decisions.
- Improve earnings release, guidance, and KPI frameworks in partnership with FP&A and IR; align narrative with filed disclosures.
- Own cash flow forecasting, covenant monitoring, and working capital optimization.
- Manage banking relationships and rating agency engagements as applicable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- HKICPA/ CPA/ ACCA or equivalent is required
- Minimum 13+ years of finance/accounting experience with minimum 3 years at a US listed company with solid knowledge in the SEC fillings, US GAAP and SOX compliance is a MUST.
- Good commands in English is required
