Define, iterate, and execute both the commercial product roadmap and the overarching technical architecture to align with startup milestone targets.
Pioneer the research and implementation of emerging generative AI frameworks and tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, OpenAI/Gemini APIs, Lovable, low-code engines) to bypass legacy coding pipelines and radically accelerate feature deployment.
Maintain an obsessive focus on product-market fit, shipping robust Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) efficiently without over-engineering backend logic.
Oversee and rapidly prototype user-facing web portals, mobile applications (iOS/Android), and digital subscription platforms.
Build and inject smart features into the applications, such as personalised training recommendations, intelligent performance analytics, and automated dashboards.
Serve as the technical authority for the physical-to-digital ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication between smart fitness devices and the application layer.
Maintain design oversight over secure, scalable cloud servers (AWS/GCP), localised network signaling, and core IoT communication patterns.
skills & experience required.
Minimum 8 years of experience working within high-growth, early-stage startups, or as a technical co-founder / founding engineer.
Proven background in traditional software engineering principles, application design patterns, and system architecture to reliably validate and secure AI-generated outputs.
Hands-on experience building or maintaining hardware-software systems with direct knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, WebSockets), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), firmware communication, and real-time device signaling.
Demonstrated track record of successfully shipping digital products, subscription applications, or consumer-facing SaaS ecosystems to market.
Demonstrable familiarity or high curiosity for leveraging modern AI code editors, cloud infrastructure, low-code platforms, and prompt frameworks to drastically shrink software delivery lifecycles.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a distinct advantage for localized vendor coordination.
