You will join an experienced, high-performing regional risk management team based in Hong Kong. The team works closely with traders, legal advisors, and international credit agencies to ensure sound counterparty risk governance.

- Perform detailed financial and fundamental credit risk analysis on existing and prospective corporate counterparties across regional commodity markets.
- Lead market due diligence using external credit rating agencies, financial database intelligence, and primary industry research.
- Establish, review, and monitor counterparty credit limits and trade structures to mitigate default risk while enabling commercial growth.
- Meet directly with key potential and existing clients to evaluate commercial standing, financial strength, and operational stability.
- Partner closely with internal trading desks to structure trades, address credit exposure issues, and resolve transactional bottlenecks.
- Monitor ongoing market intelligence, macroeconomic shifts, and counterparty news to proactively manage exposure and margin calls.
skills & experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are advantageous.
- Minimum 8 years of credit analysis or credit risk management experience within commodities trading, corporate banking, or trade finance.
- Proven experience conducting counterparty due diligence, financial modeling, and setting credit exposure limits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated confidence meeting prospective clients and negotiating with internal traders.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable to engage with regional counterparties.
