Job Responsibilities

1. Oversight and Support: Assist in managing the compliance functions for Hong Kong office, covering areas such as regulatory compliance, AML/KYC, data privacy, and compliance related matters.

2. Regulatory Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with regulatory bodies including Insurance Authority regarding inquiries, reporting, inspections, and investigations.

3. Regulatory Analysis: Identify relevant regulations and analyze external statutory and regulatory requirements. Assess compliance risks associated with the business while monitoring regulatory developments and updates.

4. Policy Development: Develop and uphold robust controls, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.

5. Advisory: Provide guidance to business and operational teams to enhance awareness of pertinent regulatory requirements.

6. Reporting: Report compliance-related issues to the Head of Compliance and management. Collaborate on corrective actions, outlining responsibilities, timelines, and review dates.

Job Requirements

• Relevant degree or professional qualification is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience. Open to Big 4 Candidates with insurance exposure.
• Strong understanding of the insurance industry and products, alongside knowledge of regulatory guidelines and requirements.
• Proven ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across local and regional functions.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
