You will be joining a dynamic, high-performing sales team, supported by a strong technical team dedicated to the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) sector in Hong Kong. This is a highly collaborative environment where Sales, Solutions Architects, and Product teams work together to solve the complex cloud computing challenges faced by sophisticated BFS clientele. About the Job.
As a Cloud Sales Director focusing on the Hong Kong BFS market, your mission is to drive significant revenue growth, focusing on Key Accounts within the Insurance sector. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you will be responsible for the full sales life cycle, from initial relationship building with C-level executives (CXOs/CIOs) to the conversion of complex, multi-year cloud opportunities. Success hinges on your ability to leverage your extensive network in the Hong Kong BFS space, articulate the technical and business value of our cloud platform, and strategically integrate internal resources to deliver forward-looking industry solutions that ensure client success and deepen platform utilisation.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
... Strategic Client Relationship Development: Focus on building deep trust and long-term, sustainable relationships with key stakeholders in the Insurance sector to identify requirements and create multi-million-dollar business opportunities.
Value Communication: Capable of presenting cloud solutions, leveraging an understanding of client's industries and business backgrounds to help them comprehend the technical value and ROI of our offerings.
Opportunity Conversion: Driving decision-making and business opportunity conversion using a range of sales strategies to achieve performance targets and ensure the rapid adoption and ongoing use of our solutions.
Market Leadership: Provide actionable insights based on niche market analysis to offer forward-looking industry solutions and strategically assess client needs and technology road maps.
Core Requirements:
8+ years of experience in the cloud computing or IT industry, specifically in key enterprise account management within the financial sector.
Extensive network and familiarity with key clients in the Hong Kong Financial Services and Insurance space, with experience collaborating with or having worked at these top-tier institutions.
Cloud Focus: Strong understanding of mainstream cloud architectural design methods and the ability to articulate the competitive advantage and business value of cloud solutions.
C-Level Engagement: Proven ability to independently engage with high-level clients such as CEOs and CIOs, facilitating effective business and technical discussions to influence and accelerate decision-making.
Complex Project Management: Experience in managing complex sales cycles and projects that require significant cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration (e.g., product, legal, technical).
Language Fluency: Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is essential to effectively navigate the Hong Kong business landscape and engage with senior decision-makers.
