Our client, a well-established financial institution, is currently looking for a Cloud Architect. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Microsoft Azure, responsible for designing and managing our cloud architecture and security standards.

- Work as one of the technical leaders in the team to define and maintain the roadmap, architecture principles, best practices, and guidelines for the cloud infrastructure within the Azure environment.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate their requirements into technical specifications and blueprints.
- Identify and recommend technical solutions, and plan and coordinate architecture activities that support business needs.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to other solution architects on infrastructure and cloud strategy.
- Research and share the latest technology trends to support innovative business initiatives.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in the IT field, with at least 4+ years working as a Solution Architect, Senior IT Manager, or a similar role, with experience leading solution architecture design and strategy for cloud infrastructure.
- Professional experience within the banking or insurance sectors, or a background working for a major service provider or consulting firm with relevant project experience.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and resilient cloud architectures, with a proven track record of developing architecture/roadmaps for projects to support enterprise business objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, networking, security standards and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in speaking both Chinese and English, and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
- Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF or Microsoft Azure Certified Solutions Architect, would be advantageous.
