We are seeking a seasoned, visionary IT executive leader to join their well-established organization.
About the Role
Reporting directly to a Senior Executive, you will be responsible for managing the departmental P&L, including budget planning and allocation. You will lead a large in-house team of around 150 employees across applications, network & cybersecurity, and system infrastructure. Your role will involve initiating, leading, and driving various digital transformation projects for both internal departments and users, such as students and researchers, to facilitate and enhance multimedia digital teaching and learning. Additionally, you will ensure that the digital transformation journey is secure from cybersecurity threats and complies with all statutory requirements.
Requirements
- 20 years of extensive experience in sizable in-house environments with large exposure to various business operations.
- Proven strong leadership skills, including managing sizable in-house teams and a track record of successfully overseeing complex external vendors and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Solid experience in driving various digital transformation and emerging technology projects; prior experience in learning/education-related projects is advantageous.
- Well-rounded experience in IT systems and infrastructure, coupled with a strong and current understanding of emerging technologies, including but not limited to IoT, AI, and data analytics.
- A tech advocate who proactively stays ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies that can align with and contribute to organizational growth, innovation, and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or above from a well-recognized university.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
