Chief Financial Officer, HK Listed, FMCG/ Retail

Our client is a HK listed business with various business portfolios, we are looking for a CFO to lead their finance teams and drive the business growth.

This pivotal role demands a seasoned profession to drive strategic financial management and report directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will be instrumental in guiding the company’s sustained performance and expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage the full scope of the Finance function, prioritizing deep expertise in Investor Relations, sophisticated Corporate Treasury oversight, and M&A duties
• Directing the preparation of all financial statements and regulatory filings in strict compliance with HKEX reporting requirements and relevant Hong Kong Listing Rules.
• Assume a highly engaged role as a Board of Directors participant, providing invaluable strategic and financial guidance to executive leadership.
• Demonstrate exceptional, established leadership capabilities, overseeing a significant team structure that includes 10 direct reports and a wider regional finance team
• Possess extensive experience, either presently or in the past, in direct collaboration with senior executive

Requirement:

• Degree in business, accounting and finance or equivalent experience
• Minimum 12 years of experience in relevant position with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Exceptional and proven leadership capacity gained from substantial experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the Consumer Goods or Retail/FMCG industry.
• Direct, hands-on expertise in fulfilling all compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements specific to a HKEX-listed company. Previous tenure in a similar listed environment is highly preferred.
• Good commands in Chinese and English
