As the Manager of Business Development for the M&A and Private Equity practices, you will occupy a high-visibility role bridging the gap between sophisticated legal practice and commercial growth. Your day-to-day involves navigating a fast-paced, multi-authority environment where you will transform complex deal data into compelling narratives for prospective clients. You will be expected to manage tight, conflicting deadlines with poise, ensuring that the firm's experience is captured accurately and marketed aggressively to maintain its top-tier market ranking.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an exceptional ability to build consensus among senior leadership and executive stakeholders. You should possess a deep understanding of the corporate finance landscape and be comfortable navigating the nuances of M&A transactions. Beyond technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases, you must have a "detective’s mindset" for market intelligence and the interpersonal gravitas to lead a team in a high-pressure, elite corporate setting.
- Experience: 6–10 years of progressive business development or marketing experience within a reputable law firm or top-tier professional services organizations (i.e. managemnet consulting or investment banking)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree. An MBA or JD is considered a significant advantage.
- Market Research Skills: Proficiency in high-end research tools such as Pitchbook, LSEG, Preqin, S&P Capital IQ, Mergermarket, etc.
- Leadership: Proven track record in managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams in high-pressure scenarios.
