As a Client Development Manager, you will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on executor for the firm's corporate practices, including M&A, Private Equity, Banking, and Real Estate.

Main/Primary Duties:
- Strategic Client Development: Actively support partners with client targeting, account planning, and relationship management to drive sustainable growth.
- Market Intelligence: Provide competitive intelligence on market trends, client activity, and peer firm positioning.
- Pitches & Proposals: Lead and coordinate high-quality, client-focused pitches and proposals.
- Brand Building: Partner with the Asia Events and Communications teams to deliver client engagement activities, sponsorships, and regional media exposure.
- Directories & Rankings: Coordinate legal directory and award submissions while coaching partners on best practices to raise individual and firm rankings.
- Infrastructure & ROI: Manage marketing collateral, track BD metrics, and analyze the ROI of various campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Leadership: Serve as a mentor to junior members of the Asia CDE team and contribute to the continuous improvement of regional BD processes.
skills & experiences required.
- Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of business development experience, ideally within a law firm, professional services, or financial services environment.
- Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of the legal market and the private equity/private credit ecosystem is highly valued.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Chinese is essential for this role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Attributes: Commercially minded and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively in a demanding international environment
