The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business mainly focusing in Accident & Health (A&H) and/or Travel assistance services for the company. This candidate will strategically plan through active upselling/cross selling activities and key account management to deliver Company's target annually. They are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships in order to meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Exceed and deliver the business results through consultative selling.
- Identify, develop and close business opportunities across the named territories with a ‘sales hunter’ mindset and approach.
- Establish and develop strategic relationships with existing clients to generate new revenue through cross-selling and up-selling.
- Responsible to grow the entire product suite - assistance services, insurance and reinsurance.
- Indirect/Direct account management responsibility over specific customers in the industry and manage post-sales administration and renewal activities.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting in a timely manner.
- Maintain an up-to-date database that is in line with regional & global standards.
- Prepare sales collateral with the support from Sales & Marketing team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years working experience in B2B sales position in servicing industry.
- Strong preference for candidates with prior experience working for or selling into the insurance sector (A&H specific is highly valued).
- Experience in working for / selling into insurance sector is a PLUS.
- Formal training in consultative sales methodology.
- Proven track record - a passionate sales professional with consultative sales approach
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- High proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Conversational Mandarin speaking is a plus.
