As a Business Analyst within the Compliance domain, you will act as the vital link between the stakeholders and the technical implementation team. Your primary focus will be on enhancing AML systems and optimizing Transaction Monitoring workflows.
Your key responsibilities include:
Requirement Gathering: Leading workshops with compliance stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
Functional Documentation: Translating business needs into detailed functional specifications and system design documents.
Workflow Optimization: Analyzing and improving end-to-end Transaction Monitoring processes and AML alert handling.
UAT Management: Designing comprehensive test cases, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing defect remediation.
Project Delivery: Supporting the full Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) to ensure compliance solutions are delivered on time and meet regulatory expectations.
skills & experiences required.- Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services sector (In-house Banking or Consulting).
- Domain Knowledge: Proven experience or a strong theoretical understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Transaction Monitoring workflows.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing functional specifications, process mapping, and managing UAT cycles.
- Background: Candidates from a consulting background with specialized AML project experience, or in-house banking BAs with a focus on compliance systems, are highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent command of English and local languages to effectively manage stakeholders across different business units.
