Manage the full-cycle investment accounting for a wide range of products, including equity, debt, and derivatives.
Oversee the accounting and valuation of structured products to ensure compliance with HKFRS and group standards.
Perform P&L analysis and reconcile investment positions between trading systems and the general ledger.
Lead the implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9) as they relate to financial instruments.
Collaborate with the IT and product teams to enhance the automation of investment accounting workflows.
Prepare detailed financial reports and schedules for management and external audit purposes.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
4 to 8 years of experience in investment accounting, product control, or audit within the securities industry.
Strong technical knowledge of financial instruments (Equity, Debt, Derivatives, and Structured Products).
Proactive mindset with the ability to navigate complex accounting challenges in a fast-paced setting.
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with regional and head office teams.
