The Finance team acts as a central nervous system for the firm’s Hong Kong operations. about the job.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements for the securities business.
Support the preparation of regulatory filings and returns in compliance with SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR).
Perform daily accounting operations, including expense processing, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process and assist in the preparation of tax computations.
Participate in ad-hoc projects, such as system enhancements and the implementation of new accounting standards.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of financial data and the integrity of internal controls.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA / ACCA (or finalist) status is highly preferred.
2 to 4 years of experience in financial services audit (Big 4) or a similar finance role within a securities firm.
Strong understanding of HKFRS and basic knowledge of the Hong Kong regulatory environment.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory for reporting and stakeholder communication.
