... - Perform due diligence checks on customer account documentation during initial client onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Provide clear advice and guidance to frontline business desks on local and international KYC requirements.
- Escalate complex KYC, sanction, and regulatory risk issues to senior management and governance leads in a timely manner.
- Review sanction and regulatory screening results to identify potential hits, conducting initial investigations before escalating to relevant stakeholder teams.
- Stay updated on evolving HKMA and regional regulatory changes, incorporating best practices into daily operations.
- Assist the Team Head in drafting, updating, and implementing internal policies, procedures, and guidelines relating to customer onboarding and review processes.
- Drive operational efficiency and accuracy across all KYC workflows and documentation handling.
- Support regulatory system projects, testing, and enhancements for KYC documentation and screening tools.

- Education: A recognised university degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of banking experience focused on customer account documentation and KYC processes.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of current HKMA guidelines, KYC frameworks, and industry practices.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in regulatory risk management or financial crime prevention are preferred.
- Language Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English.
