Your Mission: To Be a Strategic Partner to Our Corporate Clients
As an Assistant Account Manager, you will be responsible for a designated portfolio of corporate clients, providing professional advice and support across their General Insurance needs. This is a front-and-center role where you will:
Manage the Full Client Lifecycle: Act as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, providing professional advice and day-to-day service on their general insurance programs.
Lead Program Negotiation: Assist with the negotiation, implementation, placement, and administration of client’s insurance programs, ensuring they get the most comprehensive coverage at the best terms.
Craft Winning Proposals: Drive the client acquisition process by assisting in comparing quotations, preparing compelling client proposals, detailed analysis reports, and persuasive presentation materials.
Champion Client Claims: Proactively handle claims for your designated accounts and/or support the claims department on major and problematic claims, acting as the crucial liaison between clients, insurers, and overseas partners.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Maintain flawless administrative standards by checking policy documentation for accuracy before issuance and expertly handling billing, premium collection/payment, and credit control.
The Perfect Candidate: Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused professional who possesses the following attributes and experience:
Proven GI Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in general insurance, gained from a reputable broker firm or insurance company.
Essential Qualifications: Must possess a tertiary education, hold IIQE Papers I & II, and be either ACII / ANZIIF (Senior Associates) qualified or in progress.
Client-Facing Acumen: Demonstrated experience in dealing with clients, with a strong track record of conducting face-to-face meetings, seminars, and briefings.
Broad Product Knowledge: A solid working knowledge of various commercial insurance classes, including commercial property, employers’ liability, public and product liability, motor, travel, personal accident, and more.
Meticulous & Highly Organized: Excellent organizational skills, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize a diverse workload.
Exceptional Communicator: Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with effective interpersonal skills.
Computer Skills: Well-versed in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Chinese word processing is an advantage).
Ready to Start: Candidates who are immediately available are highly preferable.
