About the Opportunity
We are currently representing a top-tier international Private Bank seeking an exceptional Assistant Relationship Manager to join one of the most successful and highly structured desks in the region. You will be supporting a very seasoned, high-producing Relationship Manager who already has an established team of two dedicated ARMs. Due to exceptional business growth, the RM is looking to add a third professional to the team.
About the role:
... - 100% HK Local Book: The entire portfolio consists purely of Hong Kong local clients.
- Minimal KYC / Account Opening: Unlike most desks in the market, this portfolio is mature and stable. You will spend very little time on heavy onboarding or complex cross-border KYC.
- Pure Execution Focus: Your day-to-day will focus on fast-paced transaction execution, trade orders, and annual reviews, allowing you to truly sharpen your market skills.
- Strong Support Structure: Joining a team with two existing ARMs means a highly collaborative culture where workload is balanced and efficiently managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute trade orders accurately and efficiently across various asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Structured Products, Derivatives).
- Handle client enquiries, account maintenance, and routine transaction monitoring for Hong Kong local high-net-worth clients.
- Coordinate and conduct periodic annual reviews smoothly, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Provide high-touch administrative and operational support to the RM to maintain excellent client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) or Relationship Manager Assistant within a Private Bank.
- Licensing: Must hold HKMA/SFC Type 1 & Type 4 licenses.
- Skills: Strong trade execution capabilities with a sharp eye for accuracy and detail.
- Attributes: A highly collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic trading environment.
