Responsibilities:
- Support front-office Equity Trading and Portfolio Management users.
- Troubleshoot portfolio management and trading systems (third-party and in-house).
- Provide daily application support for production incidents.
- Maintain production environment oversight and change protocols.
- Serve as the primary contact for technology escalations across all asset classes.
- Ensure effective incident logging, escalation, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams on issue resolution.
- Manage and proactively monitor trading application production environments.
- Deliver high-quality client service to business partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Financial Services experience in Trading or Asset Management.
- Excellent client service and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
- Technical proficiency in Windows Server and UNIX operating systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and Relational Databases (MS SQL & Sybase).
- Experience supporting execution and order management systems.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux and FIX protocol.
- Familiarity with securities industry systems & terminology (advantageous).
- Practical experience with FIX certification & troubleshooting (preferred).
