Assist the General Manager in leading the overall management, strategic planning, and commercial development of the Private Banking Department.
Drive sustainable business growth, revenue profitability, operational efficiency, and service excellence across all wealth management segments.
Oversee the core Private Banking, Investment, Securities, Insurance, and Wealth Management businesses, ensuring flawless alignment with corporate objectives.
Provide robust management oversight of private banking risk frameworks, including suitability controls, AML/CFT, regulatory compliance, and operational risk.
Serve as the primary, high-level liaison with regulators, external auditors, and internal control functions on all matters relating to private banking activities.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with ultra-high-net-worth clients and institutional business partners to facilitate business growth.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of banking experience, including substantial exposure to Private Banking and Wealth Management, with at least 8 years in a senior management capacity.
Active holder of a Securities Executive Officer (EO) licence or an Insurance Responsible Officer (RO) licence is highly preferred.
Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) certification is preferred.
Deep understanding of Hong Kong banking regulations, SFC requirements, insurance regulations, and AML/CFT standards.
Full proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English is mandatory to communicate effectively with regional stakeholders and clients.
