As an Accountant within the professional services team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing full sets of accounts, general ledger maintenance, and timely month-end closing processes.
- Preparing statutory financial statements and management reporting packs
- Coordinating and supporting statutory audit schedules, tax computations, and liaising directly with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Assisting the finance manager with system enhancements, workflow automations, and internal control reviews.
skills & experience required.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, corporate services, or external audit within a professional services or multinational environment.
- Membership or qualification progression with HKICPA / CPA Australia / ACCA / CGA or equivalent professional accounting bodies.
- In-depth practical knowledge of HKFRS / IFRS and Hong Kong profits tax compliance.
- Hands-on proficiency with major cloud accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and fluent in Cantonese and English (proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage).
