VP, Global investment, HK Listed co
Our client is a corporate client listed in HK, with a strong base in Asia-Pacific, but with operations all over the world. They are expanding their corporate investment team for global investment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main driver for identifying potential deals, utilizing an established and extensive network among banks, private equity firms, and corporations throughout the United States to generate transaction prospects.
- Spearhead the complete deal lifecycle, with a primary concentration on the identification, valuation, and successful conclusion of transactions
- Develop clear and impactful financial models and prepare comprehensive presentations for the review of the senior leadership and the Investment Committee.
- Contribute to defining and advancing the long-term corporate finance strategy that supports the organization's international growth ambitions, focusing heavily on expansion within North America at this stage.
- Manage and coordinate all third-party collaborators, such as external legal counsel and due diligence specialists, throughout the entire transaction execution phase.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business or Finance, oversea education would be a plus
- Professional qualification e.g. CFA or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience with demonstrated track record of achievement in executing M&A and corporate finance transactions, typically acquired through experience at a leading investment banking firm, private equity fund, or corporate investment team
- Superior technical proficiencies in the areas of financial modeling and company valuation.
- Strong communication abilities, including the capability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to senior management and international stakeholders.
- Must exhibit resourcefulness, flexibility, and a readiness to undertake frequent business travel to North America for deal-related activities.
- Good commands in English and Chinese is required
