Responsibilities
- Accountable for leading and growing the bank's UI UX discipline, driving design for digital products and services.
- Collaborate with product, business, and IT teams to translate needs into engaging digital experiences.
- Define future innovation opportunities and influence strategy from a customer perspective.
- Guide and mentor team members in all design process aspects, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Resolve conflicts and present deliverables effectively to stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, coaching and elevating designers.
- Contribute to enhancing the bank's digital design capability and customer-centricity.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in UI UX design (3+ in leadership), with a strong portfolio in financial services.
- Self-starter with executive presence, ownership, and a passion for results.
- Collaborative leader with strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
- Expert in UI/UX methodologies, design principles, and industry best practices.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design, able to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experienced in project and third-party vendor management.
