Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including outsourcing, cloud computing, and software licencing.
Providing strategic advice on data privacy matters, cybersecurity, and compliance with the HKPDPO and global standards like GDPR.
Advising on the regulatory aspects of FinTech, including digital assets, payment systems, and SFC-related technology regulations.
Supporting the corporate team on the TMT aspects of major M&A transactions and joint ventures.
Managing client relationships and acting as a primary point of contact for regional legal counsels.
skills & experience required.
Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction with 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Proven track record in TMT, Commercial, or Data Privacy within a reputable international or top-tier local law firm.
Strong technical drafting skills and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for commercial stakeholders.
Native or professional fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is highly preferred to support regional clients.
Excellent academic credentials and a genuine passion for the technology sector.
