Founded by an experienced leader with a clear vision and a strong foundation, they are looking for a pioneering Technical Lead specializing in IoT and mobile application development to serve as the cornerstone of their technology team. As the company's first permanent technical leader, you will serve as the Head of Technology, possessing significant autonomy to shape a product that integrates mobile applications, smart devices, and AI technologies. ... - Design, architect, and build our flagship mobile application, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and high-performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement all core features, from the user interface to complex business logic and smart device integration.
- Collaborate directly with the founders and product development team to understand the business concept, translate the business vision into a tangible technical roadmap, making key decisions on technology, tools, and infrastructure.
- Think outside the box to solve complex technical challenges, proposing creative and workable solutions that align with our long-term business goals.
- Establish the foundation of the architecture and engineering culture, and support the process of recruiting, mentoring, and managing the technology team during the business expansion.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, especially in mobile app development, with relevant experience working in a leadership role on a development team is highly advantageous.
- With deep and proven expertise in building sophisticated, cross-platform mobile applications. Experience in development with Flutter is a significant plus.
- Proven expertise in developing apps that interface with smart devices or IoT products.
- With a great balance of architectural design skills and a passion for staying hands-on with the code.
- Thrive in a dynamic startup environment, have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, and be excited by the challenge of developing a product from 0 to 100.
- Strong team leadership skills, preferably with team-building and mentoring experience.
- Ability to effortlessly understand complex business concepts and translate them into technical requirements and features.
- Relevant experience with AI/ML, live streaming, or IoT/smart devices would be a a plus.
- Proficient in spoken English is a must; apart from Hong Kong, candidates who are currently based in Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, or Malaysia who are able to work remotely will also be considered.
