As a Tech Project Manager, you will oversee the Business/System Analysts and Engineers responsible for the tactical delivery of key distribution and 3PL integration projects, which may follow agile or waterfall methodologies. You will work closely with business partners and technology leaders to manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, creating detailed timelines, communication plans, and progress reports. Your role involves proactively solving problems, managing project risks and budgets (>$1M), handling resource planning, and acting as a central point of contact for stakeholders.
- Responsible for overall delivery of distribution, 3PL integration projects from planning to development that serves a long-term business objective
- Manages the assigned project including but not limited to managing established and mature products, teams, capability or category or technology solution implementation or migration
- Creates overall timeline, stakeholder analysis, communication plan, cross-functional dependencies, reporting structure to track progress across multiple workstreams
- Unblocks the team and proactively problem solves as needed throughout the project lifecycle
- Effectively identifies and solves for potential risks, issues, and development strategies to prevent realization of risks while providing transparency to the applicable stakeholders
- Validates that the project delivers the expected outcomes, supports business objectives, is of quality
- Manages Project budget (actuals & forecast)
- Coordinate resource planning and manages vendor engagement for assigned projects. Point of Contact for Procurement, Security, Legal, Stakeholder Management (Sponsor, Leadership, Architects)
- Develops relationships and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders across regions (NA, APAC, China, India) and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives.
- Ensures all project tasks are clearly understood, assigned, and tracked.
- Work closely with the partner teams on triaging, driving RCAs and action plans for short term vs long term fixes
- Data driven mindset and uses data to make informed decisions.
- Hands on with tools like Service Now, Jira, Microsoft Project, MS office
skills & experiences required.
5+ years of experience in the technology space with 5+ years of dedicated project management experience.
Proven expertise in managing waterfall, hybrid, and agile (Scrum/SAFe) delivery teams; agile certification is required if leading a scrum team.
Experience working with global teams across different time zones (PST, EST, IST, HKT).
Demonstrated ability to manage and forecast annual project budgets of at least $1M capex.
Thorough understanding of the technology domain, project lifecycle, and relevant stacks.
