Lead end-to-end design and development of system applications
Drive the complete Software Development Lifecycle, spanning initial requirement gathering through final program deployment
Conduct in-depth analysis of user needs, translate them into comprehensive system functional designs, oversee quality assurance, and coordinate with UAT phase
Partner with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams to ensure all development aligns precisely with technical specifications and functional blueprints
Integration of robust IT security controls and regulatory compliance standards into all aspects of system development
Take ownership of and manage assigned IT initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
Minimum 6 years of experience in application development, including 2 years in leadership capacity
Expertise in modern Java (version 17 or higher) and Spring framework (including Spring Boot, Spring JPA/Hibernate/MyBatis, and Spring Batch)
Familiarity with cloud native architecture principles and relevant tooling (e.g., Docker, Kubernete, Openshift)
Experience with front-end or mobile application frameworks (e.g., Angular.js, Vue.js, React/React Native, Flutter)
Knowledge of IOS 27001 Information Security Management standards is considered an asset
Prior professional experience within the personal loan/lending business sector is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese and English
