They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who holds deep expertise in modern PHP but also possesses a strong DevOps mindset to manage how that code runs in a cloud environment.

... - Design and develop complex and scalable backend services using PHP and Laravel.
- Design secure, versioned, and well-documented RESTful APIs and manage third-party integrations.
- Set the standard for best practices, driving a DevOps culture within the development team.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, building and managing infrastructure through Terraform.
- Deliver secure and efficient solutions in adherence with comprehensive compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
skills & experiences required.
- Associate Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in PHP development, with mastery of Laravel, MySQL and RESTful API. Experience with modern JavaScript (such as React) would be advantageous.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience involving DevOps workflows and cloud infrastructure.
- A proven track record of designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in spoken Cantonese is a must.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud services (AWS preferred); relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experienced with common DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Grafana.
- Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered for the Software Engineer position..
