about the job.
- Create technical specifications and participate in technical design and development using Java/C++ in a multi-threaded environment.
- Collaborate with the rest of the development team to develop backend services and APIs to support new features and enhancements for the digital solutions for financial services.
- Translate business requirements from the product team into technical solutions with a modern tech stack.
- Perform quality control and monitoring activities, such as integration, testing, and documentation preparation.
- Share knowledge and enthusiasm for software engineering techniques with the team.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 12+ years' hands-on experience in Java/C++ backend development, with knowledge of microservices and integration patterns.
- Strong professional background from high-growth, high-scale environments such as tier 1 investment banks (especially front office technology), major cryptocurrency platforms, BATX, FAANG, or similar scale companies is a must.
- Prior project experience in financial products, such as financial exchange, trading, or e-wallet, is highly preferrable.
- Proven ability to take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from initial requirements analysis and technical design through development, testing, deployment etc..
- Proficiency in both spoken Chinese and English is a must. For candidates currently based in Mainland China, Singapore, or Malaysia, work visa sponsorship will be provided.
- Previous experience with building CI/CD pipelines using Docker/Kubernetes/Git is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to quickly adopt new technologies.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
