They are currently seeking a strategic Trade Management expert to strengthen their regional procurement capabilities.

Oversee the commercial lifecycle of short-haul ocean freight services, focusing on Intra-Asia, Middle Eastern, and Oceanic corridors.
Implement robust growth initiatives designed to scale existing business volumes and secure new market share.
Act as the primary point of contact for regional carriers to negotiate competitive pricing and service terms.
Drive the end-to-end commercial bidding process, ensuring all tender responses are technically accurate and commercially competitive.
Audit and maintain the integrity of freight rate agreements and specialised contract filings within the regional database.
Synchronise with internal departments and shipping lines to resolve equipment shortages, space constraints, or service discrepancies.
Generate high-level market intelligence reports to track global trade flows and internal performance metrics.
Analyse the volume output of major accounts to ensure adherence to regional routing guides and strategic trade policies.
Facilitate executive-level carrier reviews by synthesizing complex performance data into actionable strategic presentations.

skills & experiences required.

University degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related commercial discipline.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience within a global carrier or top-tier freight forwarder is essential.
Proven track record in ocean procurement and trade lane management, with a specific focus on the Intra-Asia market.
Advanced proficiency in data management tools (Excel) and professional presentation software (PowerPoint).
Candidates demonstrating extensive leadership and technical depth will be considered for the Senior Manager designation.
Exceptional linguistic abilities in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both verbal and written) are mandatory.
A highly analytical and disciplined professional who thrives in a high-pressure, deadline-sensitive environment.
