- Building and leading a new or growing software development team in the APAC region, cultivating a culture of innovation and accountability among both onshore and offshore technologists and engineers.
- Spearhead initiatives to modernize enterprise systems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance performance and scalability.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, coordinating with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality solutions.
- Champion the adoption of new technologies and agile methodologies, pushing the boundaries of what's possible to build robust, scalable, and secure systems.
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategic goals into a clear technical roadmap, serving as a key advisor on technology-related decisions.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years in software development, with at least 4 years in a leadership role overseeing project delivery and team performance.
- Proven experience managing people, resources, and vendors, along with building and scaling diverse onshore and offshore teams from the ground up.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects using Agile and DevOps methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the full SDLC and system architecture, with hands-on experience in a wide range of technologies, including Microsoft Azure, C#, Java, and MS Azure DevOps.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, influencing and gaining buy-in at all levels.
- Must be fluent in English and have full working rights for Hong Kong.
