Formulate, develop and execute external affairs communications strategies across different media channels/platforms to deliver a positive narrative and/or positive image of the Institution
Collaboration with cross-functional team to ensure communication strategies are impactful and aligned with Organization's direction and objectives
Develop and arranged media related activities and materials including press conference, press release, briefings
Responsible in media training and preparations for senior executives
Manage issues and crisis management and to ensure its effectively communicated and solved
Research on the latest policies related to the organization to ensure a proactive media communication & engagement approach
Supervise and manage the team providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure a productive and collaborate work environment to achieve the organization's objectives

skills & experiences required.

Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related discipline
Minimum 10 years experience in external communications focusing on media and/or external affairs
Experience in a (semi) government, education institute and/or conglomerate environment would be preferred
Experience in leading a team is a must
Strong leadership skills, communications and strong interpersonal skills
Strong in copy writing skills
Experience in managing and building effective relationships with media
Strong team player, relationship-oriented and detail minded
Results driven, strong project management skills and creative
Ability to communicate in verbal and written in both English and Chinese
