Act as a key technical advisor for internal business stakeholders to define the strategy and roadmap for front-to-back operational digitalization.
Design and drive the implementation of platforms that unify the insurance lifecycle (New Business, Underwriting, Claims, Servicing, etc.).
Work closely with internal development teams or 3rd-party vendors to deliver transformation initiatives, balancing long-term project milestones with Business-As-Usual (BAU) enhancements.
Convert complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications for the development team, ensuring alignment with modern engineering standards and industry regulatory requirements.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, automation tools, etc.) and recommend solutions that improve efficiency within the operations cycle.

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience in the technology space, with a proven track record of leading the strategic planning and implementation of large-scale digital transformation projects (such as digital platform or AI space) within an insurance firm or a top-tier consulting firm/service provider focusing on operational efficiency in the insurance sector.
Sound knowledge of the business work flow and input/output of the insurance life cycle.
Soid expeince in project management and collabortating with development team and equiped with relevant knowledge such as SDLC, microservie and APIs etc..
Prior experince in implementing automation tools, AI or major Gen-AI solutons (such as Gemini, Grok or Deepseek) would be advantagoues.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in speaking both Chinese and English, and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Manager grade position.
