- Drive freight optimization strategies to enhance time, cost, and operational efficiency.
- Liaise with and benchmark international forwarders on freight quotations and vendor performance.
- Manage the full order fulfilment cycle, including preparing and following up on purchase orders with suppliers.
- Organise inbound and outbound shipments, including complex documentation and customs clearance.
- Facilitate Hong Kong warehouse workflows, including space planning, inventory management, and pick-pack-ship processes.
- Improve current logistics workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure strict compliance with international standards, including RoHS, REACH, and CMRT.
- Manage data entry, invoice matching, and ERP system maintenance.
- Foster strong relationships with external vendors while ensuring seamless internal coordination across departments.
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related trading environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven experience handling Dangerous Goods (DG), specifically batteries, chemicals, and IC chips.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory for reporting to NZ headquarters and liaising with local suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability in "cost-down" initiatives and freight negotiation.
- A proactive, well-organised personality with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
