Responsibilities
- Constructing sophisticated analytical and forecasting models that facilitate the measurement and evaluation of crucial business performance indicators.
- Conducting thorough evaluations of financial performance, including detailed variance analyses, to offer insightful recommendations to management.
- Collaborating closely with the finance department in the formulation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Delivering insightful financial modeling and analysis to support the overarching business growth, including the assessment of both current and prospective business ventures.
- Analyzing monthly management profit and loss statements, financial outcomes, and key performance indicators to discern trends and propose strategic recommendations.
- Serving as a collaborative business partner, working in close coordination with diverse stakeholders across the operational teams.
- Providing regular updates on financial performance and monitoring key performance indicators to senior management.
- Generating comprehensive monthly management reports accompanied by clear and concise interpretations.
- Identifying potential financial risks and opportunities, and developing strategies to mitigate risks and optimize returns.
- Providing assistance in the monthly financial closing processes.
- Contributing to the execution of the year-end audit procedures.
- Playing a role in the strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing support related to transitions of accounting systems.
- Managing various ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience within finance or accounting (candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager position).
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
