about the team.As a System (Anaplan) Consultant, you will work independently on digital transformation and system optimization. You will work closely with the finance and IT teams respectively. The team culture is built on transparency and continuous improvement, providing you with the autonomy to advise on system architecture while partnering closely with senior stakeholders in Investment Management and HR to streamline organisational workflows.
about the job.
- Advise, design, build, and enhance Anaplan models to support core FP&A functions, including management reporting, forecasting, and annual budgeting.
- Ensure all models are sustainable, scalable, and accurately aligned with complex business requirements.
- Translate complex model outputs into actionable business intelligence through the design of clear executive dashboards and reports.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Business Units to gather requirements and maintain data integration with ERP, CRM, and HRIS systems.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and drive continuous improvement across connected systems.
- Deliver training sessions and develop comprehensive system documentation and user manuals for the wider finance community.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve overall financial performance.
skills & experiences required.
- Proven experience in Anaplan model building and finance administration is essential.
- Strong technical grasp of Anaplan coding logic and formula sections; candidates must demonstrate the ability to build models from scratch rather than just managing projects.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within an FP&A or Finance Transformation environment.
- A "Professional Model Builder" certification is highly regarded.
- Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage for regional collaboration.
- A background in in-house finance or consultancy is preferred, provided there is a solid technical foundation in system architecture.
