The Senior S&OP Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing inventory productivity within our distribution network through data analysis and technical solutions. Utilizing tools such as Power BI, the analyst transforms extensive data into meaningful, actionable insights. Collaborating closely with Merchandising, Planning, Network Planning, and DC Operations, this position develops new processes and system capabilities for ideal inventory placement.
The Senior Analyst will lead by building strong cross-functional relationships, managing conflicting priorities with a company-aligned vision, and driving actions autonomously. Key responsibilities include mid-to-long range forecasting, projecting DCOH volumes against capacity, and leading strategic projects to support future fulfillment network design.
- Manage and support processes like outbound forecasting, PO prioritization, DC-to-DC transfers, inventory rebalancing, and PO splitting to optimize DC capacity.
- Partner with stakeholders on projects focused on product inventory and DC impacts, ensuring consistency across channels.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions, providing a product and DC perspective.
- Act as the SME for implementing logic to balance DC inventory across regions, incorporating future demand forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership by analyzing opportunities and researching problems.
- Develop and maintain interactive reporting solutions for monitoring business performance.
- Handle system administration and in-season operational tasks, including allocation deadlines and transit calendars.
- Build and refine sustainable processes and reporting tools for inventory optimization and cost efficiency.
skills & experiences required.
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in business, supply chain/logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a related function such as inventory management, merchandising, or supply chain (specifically supply planning in an apparel context preferred)
- With multinational exposure and at least 1 year at a Manager or Senior level.
- Essential strong forecasting, data analytics, and reporting experience.
- Proficiency with analytical tools and BI reporting:
- Power BI (including visualization).
- SQL queries.
- Excel and ability to design formulas.
- Experience in an agile environment with frequently reassessed priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results.
