• Emergency Care & First Aid: Lead and manage the provision of immediate first aid and emergency medical care for all students and staff during school hours and at school events.

• Health and Safety Leadership: Provide expert guidance and leadership in all medically related areas, ensuring the school adheres to the highest standards of health and safety and regulatory compliance.

• Student Health Management: Oversee and manage all student medical records, allergies, and individual health care plans, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality via the school's medical system (e.g., Parent Gateway).

• Liaison and Guidance: Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor for students, staff, and parents on various health-related issues, promoting healthy habits and wellness.

• Public Health Programme Coordination: Plan, organize, and manage large-scale public health initiatives, including the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination School Outreach Programme and coordination with external health authorities (e.g., Centre for Health Protection) for the Childhood Immunization Programme.

• Operational Logistics: Manage the inventory of medical supplies, ensure proper maintenance of the medical room, and prepare necessary first aid kits for all school camps and excursion trips.

• Crisis Management: Coordinate external agencies, arrange student dismissal or recommend hospitalization when appropriate, and maintain detailed records of all medical room visits and incidents

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in Hong Kong
• Bachelor's degree holder in Nursing is required
• Prior experience in paediatrics/A&E is preferred
• Communication capabilities in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
