Act as the sales engineer for the Hong Kong/Taiwan region, responsible for establishing and growing the market footprint from scratch.
Autonomously seek, qualify, and close new business opportunities for the integration of our specialized suppression systems into complex, high-value projects.
Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with local property developers, E&M consultants, fire safety engineers, and regulatory bodies (e.g., FSD).
Prepare detailed, high-level technical proposals and commercial bids, serving as the primary technical consultant for clients.
Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from lead generation and initial qualification to contract negotiation and final handover to the remote project support team.
Requires exceptional self-management and the ability to work independently with minimal daily oversight.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated success in an independent sales or business development role within specialized Fire Suppression Systems (e.g., Gas, Foam, High-Pressure Sprinkler, or Water Mist) or a related E&M field in the Hong Kong market.
Must possess in-depth technical knowledge of Water Mist Fire Suppression or other specialized suppression systems. Familiarity with NFPA 750 or Marine classification society approvals (e.g., IMO/SOLAS) is highly preferred.
Proven ability to work independently, set priorities without direct supervision, and drive commercial results in a new market or greenfield environment. Experience with remote reporting structures is a plus.
Demonstrated excellence in contract negotiation, bid management, and maintaining high-level client relationships in the Hong Kong E&M sector.
Good written and presentation skills in Cantonese and Mandarin, English is a plus.
