As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be the strategic lead for flagship water and sewage infrastructure projects. You will bridge the gap between high-level project planning and on-site technical execution, ensuring that some of the region's most vital environmental systems are delivered with precision and innovation.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of major water/sewage treatment projects, from initial design and tendering to construction and final commissioning.
Technical Leadership: Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians, providing expert guidance on mechanical, electrical, and process engineering solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between government departments (e.g., DSD, WSD), external consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Commercial Management: Oversee project budgets, procurement strategies, and contract administration to ensure commercial targets are met.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects adhere strictly to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and local statutory requirements.
Strategic Planning: Identify potential project risks and technical bottlenecks early, implementing effective mitigation strategies to keep timelines on track.

Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
Professional Status: Chartered Engineer (MHKIE, MIMechE, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Proven Track Record: Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project management, specifically within water treatment plants, sewage facilities, or large-scale MEP installations.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies, pumping systems, and complex E&M integration.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities with a "can-do" attitude.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in English and Cantonese is essential.
