- Deconstruct complex banking workflows (e.g., Risk, Middle-Office Operations, and Client Service) into digital blueprints that Product and R&D teams can build against.
- Identify high-value digital and automation opportunities within banking business workflows to drive measurable improvements in operational speed, compliance, and accuracy.
- Act as the "Internal Customer," providing the logic for data governance, regulatory compliance, and API integration to ensure all products are "bank-ready" from day one.
- PPartner with software development teams to translate "Bank-Speak" (complex regulatory requirements and operational constraints) into actionable technical product features.
- Represent the team in meetings with key clients, advising senior stakeholders on how the platform's solutions solve their specific real-world operational issues.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional experience within the banking industry. A combination of in-house banking experience and service provider/consulting background is highly preferred.
- Deep, practical knowledge of business workflows, control frameworks, and the specific friction points of legacy banking systems within the core banking operation spaces.
- Strong understanding of modern digitalization tools, such as AQM (Automated Quality Management) systems or AI-driven technologies.
- Proven ability to identify gaps or obstacles in banking operations and suggest workable solutions based on industry best practices.
- A proven track record of successfully navigating and delivering digital transformation or process re-engineering projects in collaboration with both R&D and business units.
- bility to thrive in a dynamic environment with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude and an interest in developing products/new features from "0 to 100."
- Exceptional ability to understand complex business concepts and translate them effortlessly into technical requirements.
- Professional-level fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory. Candidates must be based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
