We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and motivated Private Tutor (2 vacancies) focusing on:

Media Studies (IGCSE/A-levels)
Design Technology (A-levels)

The primary goal is to help the student achieve academic excellence by strengthening their understanding of key concepts, improving analytical writing, and preparing them for assessments and examinations.

Develop and deliver engaging, individualized tutoring sessions tailored to the student's specific curriculum, learning style, and academic goals.
Provide comprehensive instruction across the core areas of the subjects - Media Studies and Design Technology covering the respective curriculum focus
Assist the student in preparation for coursework, essays, presentations, and final examinations. This includes reviewing past papers, practising essay writing under timed conditions, and refining research and citation skills.
Provide constructive and detailed feedback on the student's work. Regularly communicate progress and areas needing improvements to parents
Create or source high-quality, relevant teaching materials, including readings, case studies, analytical exercises, and practice questions.

skills & experiences required.

Degree holder in Education and/or to the related subject matter - Media Studies or Design Technology
Minimum 5 years tutoring/teaching experience in respective subject with curriculum experience in AQA, A-levels and IGCSE
Knowledge: Exceptional subject matter expertise and a current understanding of the evolving subject's landscape
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate and build rapport with students.
Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
