- Lead comprehensive market intelligence and exploration initiatives for new regional origins, focusing on Japan, Korea, and emerging markets.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with regional trade associations, research agencies, and market-entry consultants.
- Architect viable market-entry models in collaboration with regional leadership, conducting on-the-ground feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Develop robust initial business plans and lead the "go/no-go" decision-making process for new territory investments.
- Oversee the solution design for established new markets such as Vietnam and Singapore, ensuring operational scalability.
- Design and implement back-office processes for finance, IT, and customer service to ensure a smooth transition to the permanent operations team.
- Coordinate commercial frameworks and pricing policies for non-China origins in alignment with regional commercial heads.
- Serve as the functional Product Owner for proprietary logistics SaaS platforms, ensuring regional requirements are integrated into the technical roadmap.
- Synchronise with global engineering teams to secure operational data flows between disparate logistics management systems.
- Represent the organisation at international trade seminars and industry workshops to strengthen business networking.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international project management or solution development, ideally within cross-border e-commerce logistics.
- Proven track record in executing new market research and commercial entry strategies from the ground up.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in "greenfield" environments where processes are not yet defined.
- Strong sense of ownership and a practical, problem-solving approach to complex logistical challenges.
- Prior experience working within multi-cultural, international teams is a mandatory requirement.
- Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in an additional Asian language (e.g., Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese) is a significant advantage.
