As a Material Controller, you will be responsible for:
... - Leading a team of Material Management Executives to monitor and manage spares requirements for aircraft projects and ensure timely availability of materials from internal and external sources.
- Conducting regular reviews with internal and external customers on aircraft spares shortages.
- Establishing and implementing best practices related to systems and processes for minimizing project residue.
- Facilitating spare sales and customer buyback as required.
- Managing team performance for compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements to deliver aircraft maintenance services safely and with the highest quality.
- Providing recommendations for provisioning of parts for forthcoming aircraft projects to avoid shortages.
- Giving advice to other departments on material availability, lead time, deliveries, terms and conditions, specifications and quotes upon material requests, and recommending alternative solutions if available.
- Performing supervisory and coaching duties.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Shift duties are required (2 dayshift, 2 nightshift, 2 dayoff)
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience for a Degree holder in relevant disciplines or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge in aircraft spares and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) sourcing processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of conversational English and Chinese.
- Excellent command of written English.
- Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Supply chain and/or aircraft maintenance knowledge.
- Strong supervisory/coaching skills.
- Able to work independently and make logical judgment under pressure.
- Demonstrated proficiency in use of company IT System.
