Manage the month-end closing process and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements.
Implement and maintain robust financial internal control frameworks in accordance with group policies and HKMA requirements.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, fixed assets, and inter-company reconciliations.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit cycles and timely remediation of findings.
Review and enhance financial reporting workflows and systems to drive operational efficiency.
Collaborate with the Regulatory Reporting team to ensure consistency between management accounts and statutory filings.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 6 years of experience in financial control or accounting within the banking sector.
Strong technical knowledge of HKFRS and IFRS, with familiarity in banking products.
Proactive mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with the local team and Head Office.
